Located in the nearness of fruitful forests and flowering clearings, Poiana vines prospered worked by people with devotion and warmed by the sun. One day a beautiful deer came to the vine, The shine and aroma of the grapes combined with the swish of the grape leafs charmed him. The deer could not stand the temptation and ate more and more of the grapes until his horns tangled in the vine. His moan called the workers who helped him release and treated him with another grape. The deer ran towards the forest ,stopped at its edge and looked back thankfully. Ever since the locals witnessed many deers coming secretly to the vineyards to taste the grapes. So they decided to name the winery - Forest's Meadow, Poiana Codrilor, with a jumping deer as its symbol.
